During January 2016, I worked at BrainPower LLC in Cambridge, MA (http://www.brain-power.com/)

Project Summary: Google Glass heats up to temperatures above 53 degrees C when running processing intensive programs. Since it is so close to the user's face, this is dangerous and there isn't a way of mitigating this risk thus far besides taking Glass off. To help solve this problem, I worked on creating heat sinks and shields for Google Glass for Brain Power, LLC. I used a thermal imaging camera to determine which areas were heating up, and then created prototypes of heat sinks and shields and took measurements to see how these changed the heat in Glass.
